wishlist wednesday

Hello! WELCOME TO WISHLIST WEDNESDAY. This is a weekly meme featured on Pen to Paper.

Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop where we will post about one book per week that has been on our wishlist for some time, or just added (it’s entirely up to you), that we can’t wait to get off the wishlist and onto our wonderful shelves.

This wednesday I’m wishing for…

Expected Publication: September 27th 2016
Genres & Keywords: Young adult, fantasy, romance
Works From Author: Six of Crows series, The Grisha trilogy

Kaz Brekker and his crew have just pulled off a heist so daring even they didn’t think they’d survive. But instead of divvying up a fat reward, they’re right back to fighting for their lives. Double-crossed and left crippled by the kidnapping of a valuable team member, the crew is low on resources, allies, and hope. As powerful forces from around the world descend on Ketterdam to root out the secrets of the dangerous drug known as jurda parem, old rivals and new enemies emerge to challenge Kaz’s cunning and test the team’s fragile loyalties. A war will be waged on the city’s dark and twisting streets―a battle for revenge and redemption that will decide the fate of magic in the Grisha world.

Can we just take a second to die over that cover.

If you’ve seen the Six of Crows hardcover page edges, you’ve (obviously) noticed they’re black. I think that was such a cool touch and I really hope it’s the same for Crooked Kingdom.
I read book 1 a few months ago and I have been completely unable to get it off my mind. The story, the characters, the writing… nothing has stuck to me quite like this series has. If the publication wasn’t so far away, I probably would have done a reread but I’m not ready to experience that hangover again. All  I know is that I NEED this book. I NEED, I NEED, I NEED.

We even have an excerpt *SCREAMING*
