Excuse my french.

Father I can beat him, he’d said.
Then go, his father had said, and bring us back victory.

I HONESTLY CAN’T THINK PAST THE SCREAMING IN MY HEAD RIGHT NOW.

The world-building was very much improved, characterization was still the shinning star, plot definitely thickened, smexy tension MUCH smexier. This book was way better than the first.

And Laurent. Trust me, you need him in your life.
